NEW DELHI, Mar 6:
President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday organised a run on the Rashtrapati Bhavan right here to advertise health and well being consciousness as a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, an official assertion mentioned.
‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of the federal government of India to commemorate 75 years of independence.
The run was flagged off by the President and First Woman Savita Kovind, the assertion issued by the President’s workplace mentioned.
The 5-km run began from the Rashtrapati Bhavan forecourt and ended on the Rashtrapati Bhavan sports activities advanced, it mentioned.
Together with the President, senior officers and employees of the President’s Secretariat participated within the run, it mentioned. (PTI)
